JXP
JXP brings together partner firms from around the world, with offices in Minneapolis, Seoul, Paris, and Tokyo. Each firm (J) multiplies its capabilities through collaboration with its partners (P)—hence the name JXP.

By leveraging diverse cultural perspectives, we generate richer design ideas. Our global presence across multiple time zones enables seamless, non-stop collaboration. The varied backgrounds, experiences, and cultures within JXP foster a valuable exchange of ideas in design.

Moreover, the time differences between our partner cities allow for continuous and efficient workflows—enabling smooth coordination, timely handovers, and truly cooperative project delivery.

We are architects, designers, and visionaries. We believe in a mutual relationship between people and space—how space enhances human life, and how humans, in turn, enrich space. We design not just physical environments, but the vision behind every property. Let’s talk if you want to help build a better world together.

JIHYOON YOON

Registered Architect (US)

Registered Landscape Architect (US)

LEED AP
For a co-founder and a partner, Jihyoon Yoon, design is a continuous conversation between precision and perception. With a 20-year professional foundation in architecture and landscape architecture, he understands space through its exact dimensions. Yet, he discovers its true essence through the beauty of perspective—an artistic lens that transforms measurement into experience.

At JXP, this philosophy drives a unique interdisciplinary practice. Insights from the canvas breathe life into architectural interiors and landscapes, while the structural logic of built environments brings depth and discipline to his art. It is in this deliberate cross-pollination that JYOON’s distinctive sensibility is formed: a maximized design intelligence that lives in the fertile space between art, structure, and nature.

JAEGYUHEON X PARTNERS

SEUNGWON CHOI
SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA

Registered Architect (KOREA)

Registered Architect (FRANCE)

National Public Architect (KOREA)

For Seungwon Choi, a co-founder and a partner at JXP, design is not a destination but a rhythm—an oscillation between what is measured and what is felt. With 25 years of professional immersion in architecture, he speaks the language of scale, material, and boundary. But his true fluency lies elsewhere: in the silent poetry of a vanishing point, the weight of negative space, and the way light rewrites a room at dusk.

At JXP, Seungwon transforms this awareness into a living methodology. The painter’s instinct softens the architect’s precision; the architect’s respect for time tempers the designer’s urge for control. His work does not choose between structure and suggestion—it holds them in equal tension. The result is a design intelligence that breathes: rigorous yet lyrical, deliberate yet open to the unexpected.

Wimberly Retreat
Texas
This serene residential compound, nestled within a dramatic mountain valley, is an exercise in restraint and materiality. The design language balances the robust permanence of raw concrete with the industrial edge of corrugated metal, creating a home that is both integrated into the landscape and distinctively modern. The architecture is a series of interconnected forms, thoughtfully positioned to create private courtyards and framing expansive views of the surrounding natural beauty.

This project represents the firm’s commitment to creating thoughtful, contextual architecture that honors its site through a bold yet sensitive use of materials and a deep respect for the land.

The Monolith Cabin
Minnesota
The Monolith Cabin is a study in the harmony between industrial permanence and organic warmth. Nestled within a dense coniferous forest, this single-family residence reinterprets the traditional gabled silhouette through a lens of brutalist minimalism and sustainable technology. The design prioritizes a "living-with-nature" philosophy, utilizing expansive glazing and a curated material palette to dissolve the boundaries between the interior sanctuary and the rugged landscape.

The structure is defined by two primary intersecting volumes: a warm, vertical timber-slat envelope and a central exposed concrete spine. This concrete core serves as the home's literal and figurative anchor, housing the hearth and rising through the double-height living space to form the primary chimney stack.

The interior echoes the exterior's material honesty. Raw concrete walls, light oak paneling, and stone flooring create a tactile, serene atmosphere.
